I have been to a few local repair shops for my car because it's a bit older and needs repairs somewhat regularly. As a woman, I have experienced being overcharged by mechanics and yet the problem wasn't solved. With Pong, I have been treated with great respect and he understands that I am not a high-income customer. He has treated me and my child with the greatest respect. He and his co-owners are organized, work fast, and they communicate well. One reviewer wrote that the mechanic doesn't speak English--just because someone has an accent doesn't mean that they can't speak English. It is more important for me to go to a mechanic who fixes the problem, doesn't try to upsell or "fix" the wrong things. The location is great--I can walk or use the L to get to my work or my kid's school easily. I really recommend these guys--they are the best!!

I first went to Pong's when I was new to the city. They were so helpful and up front about everything. I've had 3 excellent experiences with them. First, my car was making a very weird sound on the wheel and I took it in to get it checked out. It was a minor fix and Pong and his crew fixed it right away for me free of charge. Another instance my exhaust pipe was broke and they were straight up with me and said don't get it fixed here as it will cost more and then recommended me to another shop that was excellent. Lastly, today I woke up to a flat tire that I couldn't drive on. I live about a mile away from the shop and he sent one of his crew members to my apartment within 5 minutes so that I was able to drive it over and get it fixed. Only cost me $25 total and the whole process only took 20 minutes. Pong and his team is amazing and helpful and I would rate them 6 stars if I could. (Nissan)
